"If These Walls Could Talk..." Tour of the Academy of Music
From the first performance of Il Travatore in the Western Hemisphere to the nomination of U.S. Grant to be the Republican candidate for President of the United States, the Academy of Music on Broad Street in Philadelphia has figured prominently in the history of our nation.
Join with the MIT Club of the Delaware Valley as we meet with Ms. Maureen Lynch to hear stories of the people and events which made our Academy of Music more than a showcase for the opera. All proceeds from this event will be donated to the Academy of Music
