CSI in Real Life!
Dr. Walter Hofman, Coroner, Montgomery County, PA
CSI (Crime Scene Investigation) shows are currently some of the most popular TV shows, but does their portrayal of forensic science match reality? Join fellow alums for an insightful evening with Dr. Walter Hofman, an internationally known and highly-respected forensic pathologist. He will talk about the currently available forensic science tools and just how reliable they are. As he compares them to their use in TV shows he will also comment on how the TV shows have affected our current beliefs and trends both inside the courtroom and out. He will include some of his own interesting and sometimes humorous cases. Not only is he an excellent scientist, he is also an engaging speaker. |
