Special Alumni Event: "Educating Our Future"

The MIT Alumni Association, in conjunction with regional clubs, will present a Webcast that features faculty members discussing how to maintain and strengthen K-12 science and technology education. Although the event was developed for graduate alumni, we welcome all members of the MIT community. Also, as a way to encourage math and science education in our area, we invite any local teachers to be our guests. If you have any teacher friends who would like to attend, please contact Lucie Wilkens (see below) (photos L to R: Woodie Flowers, Catherine Drennan, Isaac Colbert, Dedric Carter, Mitchel Resnick)

This program fits well with our Club's mission to support science and math education in the Delaware Valley. For more than a decade, among other activities, our Club has sponsored local teachers to attend a week-long summer program at MIT.
